The mission of Usui Reiki Ryoho (Healing Art/Method) is to enhance mutual well-being for oneself and others, on one hand, by fulfilling a peaceful and joyful life mentally and physically and, on the other, healing the sick. ~Usui Mikao Sensei (1865-1926)

Distance Healing is the transmission of the Reiki energy to a person or animal without the Reiki practitioner being physically present. Distance healing is used when a person or animal is in need of healing but cannot visit a Reiki Practitioner. Since the Reiki is not limited by time, space or distance, the one receiving the energy, and the Reiki Practitioner, can be half a world away and the Reiki is just as effective. The healing energy channeled is as strong as that experienced during a personal visit.

Mikao Usui, founder of Reiki, taught his students to use photographs in place of the Taoist symbol of connection in order to focus the energy on the subject. The use of photographs as stand-ins for healing subjects is still used widely today for distant healing. Distance healing can be performed without a photograph by using merely the person’s name and location. The important thing to understand about Reiki distance healing is that it flows in a higher realm and thus physicality is not needed to send it.

Who are we? We are Reiki Master/Teachers Charles Dray and Rose Jimenez, here to help facilitate healing wherever needed and by whoever needs it, be it human or animal. Please feel free to post your request for healing on the Reiki Ward Page and we will get to work on your request.
